About the formatter

Paste JSON, YAML, CSV or TSV and get it formatted, validated and syntax-highlighted as you type. The parser accepts all four, so you can paste YAML and emit JSON, or the reverse, without picking a mode first.

Errors are reported with the line and column that caused them rather than a generic "unexpected token", and the indentation you choose is remembered between visits.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the tool works offline once loaded, which matters when the document you are debugging is a production payload.
